I think I screwed up

I did the mod on the TS-850 for all band transmit.
When I was on AM 10m with another ham he said it sounded like I was off freq.

The mod was pulled off the yahoo kenwood group from k0zl

any ideas as to what I did wrong?

That Shure SM-7B is a nice mic. The cheapest so far on E-Bay is 250

It look loike for now I may settle on the Heil... It will be a while before I get it but not long.
