hope all is well, i need some assistance with an issue i have ! please read as follows.
i have a early serial 870, c131 cap mod done and audio feed in the acc2,
now my chain is as follows.
beringer b1
mic pre amp (valve one, needs to be changed for mic 2200)
composer pro channel 1
ex3200 channel 1 to channel 2
ultra-q pro parametric eq
composer pro channel 2
then to the rear of the radio.
now i have had some great audio reports and it has a tx bandwidth over 4khz, but the issue is that it lacks some clarifty or something is no quite balanced in the chain somewhere, has anyone used this configuration ? does anyone have any advice or info on how this should be set up, like i said its really good, just missing something round the mid and the top.
do i need a different eq ie dsp 1100, or 1124 to clear the mids n tops up ?
